REMOTE Associate Recruiter

Location: Orlando, FL, United States

The Associate Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for recruiting qualified healthcare professionals, including nursing, physicians, allied health professionals and administrative staff, to fulfill government contracts, specific to the DoD and VA. The individual is responsible to develop and coordinate strategies for meeting staffing needs, based on contractor’s criteria. This role involves sourcing, screening and coordinating with candidates to ensure a seamless hiring process while meeting compliance and contract requirements. Must be responsible for deadlines on contracts and staffing needs and will be working in a fast-paced environment. Will perform searches and advertise for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases networking, internet resources, cold calls, media, and employee referrals. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive and passionate about connecting talent with meaningful opportunities within government healthcare.

**This is a remote position and will be performed out of the candidate’s home-based office. Individual must have discipline to work in this work environment and needs to be reliable and readily available always throughout the work day.**

Priorities:

  • Utilize job boards, social media, professional networks, and the company’s ATS to identify and attract qualified healthcare professionals
  • Scans, edits and imports resumes and data into Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other data bases.
  • Review and evaluate candidate qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing, according to established guidelines and designated licensing codes.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and the alignment with government healthcare roles
  • Ensure candidate credentials, licenses, certifications and background meet government contract standards and requirements/ regulations
  • Prepare qualifying documentation for candidate presentation to the customer/facility and credentialing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, providing updates, feedback and guidance through the hiring process to include phone calls, emails and status update in ATS.
  • Accuracy and efficiency with close attention to detail.
  • Assist in creating and posting job descriptions tailored to government healthcare roles on various platforms
  • Processes form letters and status updates in the ATS.
  • Schedules interviews, coordinate with hiring managers, and facilitate onboarding process for selected candidates.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company and government policies.
  • Work closely with program management to understand client needs and ensure timely placement of candidates
  • Other duties as assigned

Hours of Work

  • Full Time
  • Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but employee must be available during “core” work hours and work at least 40 hours a week.

Travel Requirements

  • Out-of-area and overnight travel is to be expected occasionally.

  • General understanding of recruitment processes and tools
  • Enthusiastic individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment both in a team environment and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent phone and relationship-building skills. Candidates must be comfortable speaking with potential candidates, customers, employees and other organizations.
  • 2 + years’ work experience and proficiency with ATS, Computers and strong Microsoft Office skills preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Internet research, and advanced data entry skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs of the organization

Education

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Associate’s degree Preferred
